June Lidberg, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the age of 85 years.

June was born in Meeting Creek, AB, on June 16, 1937, where she grew up but then lived in Edmonton, Winnipeg, and finally spent most of her adult life in Calgary.

June was an active member of Bethany Chapel, and her faith was very important to her. She volunteered at the Information Desk and was a member of the choir for many years. June enjoyed spending time with her Bethany Friends and enjoyed listening to Gospel Music. June also volunteered for Canadian Blood Services, and theatre Calgary, and enjoyed her many years of volunteering. June worked for the Bank of Montreal for thirty-five years prior to her retirement and was always proud of her time with the bank. Her passions included singing about her faith, spending time with her grandchildren, and having coffee with her friends.

June is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Joleen Lidberg; and her four grandchildren, Caleb, Julia, Linnea, and Silas, of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Arlene Lidberg, of Bashaw, AB; her two sisters and brother-in-law, Phyllis Graves, of Stony Plain, AB, and Iris and Garfield Benke, of Lethbridge, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom she loved and was proud of.  June was predeceased by her parents Axel and Signe Lidberg.

A Funeral Service will be held at Bethany Chapel (3333 Richardson Way SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
