Condolences
I was deeply sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Gammage! He was the best substitute teacher in the world. His stories, knowledge and genuine care for all who crossed his path are qualities that I will always remember when thinking of him! He was one of those people you could talk to for hours exchanging stories. I still tell stories about being in his class and the way he would inspire us to learn and always do better! He will be missed by all that knew him and the entire Olds community! Condolences to his family and may he rest easy!
It's been a long time since Keith and Carole were our good neighbours on Freeland Ave. in Chatham back in the 70's. Very happy to know that Keith made such a great impact on others throughout his life and career. Our sincere condolences to the family.
We were saddened to learn of Keith's passing. His determination, persistence and endurance in the face of adversity was absolutely amazing. He will be remembered for never giving up and will be missed by many. Our deepest condolences go out to his family in this time of mourning.
Gonna miss you Keith. I am guessing the PM is sleeping more soundly tonight. The stories that could be told. I recall going to an Edmonton Oilers game and there sitting in the section reserved for wheel chairs was a tall rather fit and well dressed man who looked like he didn't belong. Keith, with all righteous indignation, asked him he he was doing there. He young man replied "I m the Oilers goalie" Yes, we got autographs."
From the metric system to Mac trucks, to hockey (esp calling goalies sieves), to the ballistics of chalk, to the benefits of toupes and Aqua Velva, the dangers of hydrochloric acid, respecting your elders, circle chalk yoga, and most importantly ... perseverance in the face of adversity Mr. Gammage taught us all this and more. Thanks. Mr. Gammage
OMG - Keith Gammahe was the best teacher ever. He got me to play basketball and enjoy science class. Never had I been a chalk target but I’ve seen many that were. If all teachers today could be a 1/4 of this man — thue wouldn’t be enough. R.I.P and say hello to my parents. ❤️❤️
Enjoy the golf games.
I have known Keith for 2 and a half years. Him and Jodi were my neighbors upstairs. Keith was very nice to me always had stories to tell. I will miss him. My condolences to his family
I have to say Keith was my favorite teacher of all time. I can attest to his chalk throwing skills sometimes the chalk brush came your way. Or the circle at the bottom of chalk board for your nose if caught chewing gum in class. He was a man with a big heart and the reason i am the Michigan fan i am today. Yrs your tee time awaits and mom and dad are at first tee waiting for you. R.I.P chief until we meet again.
