Obituary of Evelyn Helen Ramsay

We are saddened to announce the passing or our beloved Mom, Nana, great-grandma, and cherished friend.

Ev was born in Ogema, SK on December 24, 1935, and passed peacefully in her home in Calgary, Alberta on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the age of 86 years.

Ev was well loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her smile, sense of humour and her passion for living life to the fullest.

Ev will be forever remembered by her daughter Jackie McMullan, her sons, Dale (Loretta) Ramsay, Darcy (Sherry) Ramsay, Tom (Gwen) Ramsay, and her son-in-law Paul Labbe (Coleen). Ev’s grandchildren were a great source of happiness for her, and she will be lovingly missed by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Ev was a loving wife to Tom Ramsay for 50 years, he predeceased her in 2003. She was also predeceased by her loving daughter Joanne Labbe in 1992.

As per Ev’s request no services will be held. She will be forever in our thoughts and prayers. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
