Obituary of Sharon Ann Karran

Sharon Karran (nee Brown), passed away peacefully at Rosedale Hospice on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the age of 82 years.

Sharon was born on October 19, 1940 and lived in Alberta most of her life.  She met her husband Neill and raised their three daughters in Calgary. Sharon was the rock of our family, always there to provide guidance, love, and encouragement.  She loved to travel and spend time with her family and her many wonderful friends.  Sharon’s beautiful smile and her kind and generous heart will be missed by all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 60 years, Neill; her three daughters Colleen (Brad), Kelly (Shawn), Kim (Lars) and her six grandchildren, Alana, Leah, Taylor, Jordan, Kyli and Kiefer. She is also survived by her sisters Sandra and Carol (Ken) and sister-in-law Lorna (Chuck). She was predeceased by her mother Maureen and father Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the dedicated team at the Sarcoma clinic, Tom Baker Cancer Centre, and staff at the Rosedale Hospice for their care and compassion.
