To Angie, Shirley and Family,
We are very sorry to hear of Hank's passing. He was a great neighbor and friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
I really enjoyed visiting with Uncle on the farm and then in Picture Butte, as well as, at the age care home. He would always settle into sharing details of the home steading days. Those were hardship times for him and his neighbours but never did he express any bitterness or injustices. Instead, he fondly spoke about the people in a fun way. Of course, there was always something about the farm that he loved to share, especially, his love for raising cattle. He had such beautiful qualities, his big broad smile and his bear hugs paint a clear picture in my mind and hold an exclusive corner in my heart.
Mandy I am so sorry to hear of your grandfathers passing. I know how much you loved him and what a great granddaughter you were to him. Rest in peace
We are all saddened to hear of the passing of Hank. He was a good friend and neighbor to my dad and all of our family. He always had a smile and a wave for us. Please accept our condolences.

Sadly my grandfather passed away at the young age of 101 years. He was a hard worker and he loved his farm.
I spent a lot of summers riding on his John Deere tractors while the wind and dirt hit my face…but always with a smile.
I would follow him to the fields as he would check his water irrigation and how shiny his shovel was after he used it.
I will always remember him teaching me that you can make gum out of wheat grain if you chewed it long enough.
So many more memories that can be shared but most of all, I will always remember how much he loved me ♥️
I love you Grandpa

A wonderful memory I have was visiting with Uncle Henry at the farm. He showed me the barn, tractor and the few calves he was caring for. He was about 97 at the time and was lamenting that he couldn’t do what he could at 95. Honestly I don’t think he was trying to be funny, but the stark reality of age was on his mind.
