Jerald Hiebert

Obituary of Jerald Hiebert

April 29, 1940 - Roblin, Manitoba

November 25, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Robert Jerald “Jerry” Hiebert became a Guardian Angel on November 25, 2022 at the age of 82 years.

Born in Roblin, MB, the son of the late Jules and Inez Hiebert, Jerry’s life and career took Jerry from the bush camps and mines of Manitoba to the high rises of Calgary, the building of Palliser Square and the Calgary Tower, his invitation to the prestigious Bankers Hall, and to the pride of his life, the cows and the ranch.

Jerry endured physical ailments and physical challenges for most of his life. He never complained, thus few knew of the pain his body carried each day. Always a trooper, he brought laughter and good times to those around him.

Jerry leaves to mourn his soulmate Edna, sister Phyllis, brother Marvin (Barb), brother Bud, son Don (Sharon), daughter Sherry, and, through his family and extended family, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Johnnie and Irvin and sister Helen

Jerry loved to travel and was always excited about seeing the next beach and ocean. On his last trip, he was delighted to be able to kayak. He was so happy. He enjoyed his golf for many years and his Palm Desert family of friends.

He will rest in peace, and he will be one hell of a Guardian Angel, you can count on that.

His love made me happy. I will always treasure those memories.

His love gave me strength. I trust it is still there to get me through each day.

His love is mine forever. Its lasting beauty comforts my heart today and always.

I give thanks for Jerry. I give thanks for the love we shared and the love I still feel.

God Speed my darling.

Ed
