Florence “Haken” (nee Twoyoungmen) Powderface, 88, of Morley, AB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday, November 28, 2022.

Florence was born in Morley, AB, to Morley Twoyoungmen and Georgina (Crawler) Twoyoungmen on August 28, 1934.

Florence is survived by her children, Fred (Koko) and Corleigh; sister Pauline (JR) Twoyoungmen, brother Helmer Twoyoungmen, sister-in-law Marjorie Twoyoungmen, special nieces, Julene Twoyoungmen, Martina (Ron) Poucette, and Georgina Twoyoungmen; special nephews, Bernard (Rexanne) Twoyoungmen, Barrett Twoyoungmen, Warren (Karen) Twoyoungmen, Faron (Neva) Twoyoungmen, Myers Twoyoungmen, and Lance (Charmaine) Twoyoungmen. She is also survived by her grandchild, Cory (Tommy) Twoyoungmen, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives of the Crawler, Chiniki, Mark, Holloway, Kootenay, McClean, House, Hunter, Snow, Wesley families, and family from  Big Horn, Eden Valley, Saddle Lake, and Pound Maker Saskatchewan. Apologies to anyone we may have missed.

She is preceded by her parents, Morley and Georgina Twoyoungmen; brothers, Arthur Twoyoungmen, Wallace Twoyoungmen, Felix Poucette, and Lawrence Twoyoungmen, and sisters, Georgie Mark, Irene Twoyoungmen, and Virginia Twoyoungmen.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Neilson and to the staff of Unit 800 and Unit 700 Bethany Care Centre Cochrane for their exceptional care for Florence.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).  Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
