Obituary of Melvin Raymond Frampton

July 25, 1952 – Monkstown, Newfoundland

December 2, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with broken hearts that the family said the goodbye to the late Melvin Raymond Frampton, on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the age of 70 years.

Melvin passed peacefully away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB, surrounded by his family. He left to mourn, loving wife Irene, son Roy (Sonya), granddaughter Dominique (Nate), grandsons Ryder and Hudson; great-grand children Everly and Autumn; sisters Theresa, Beatrice, Susie (Kirby), Violet, Ethel (Ray), Marie (Terry); brothers Jack (Amelia), William, Maxwell, and Sid (Marilyn); as well as many nieces, nephews, and many good friends.

He was predeceased by parents John and Amelia Frampton; brothers Manual, Frank, and Chesley; and sister Edith Lillian.

Melvin will be Waked at McInnis & Holloway (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be officiated by Majors Kent and Dena Hepditch at S.A. Berkshire Community Church (Calgary, 222 Sandarac Drive, NW) on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 3:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Melvin’s Life and internment will take place in Monkstown, NL. Details to be announced at a later date.
