Obituary of Frieda Tromposch

June 28, 1928 – December 15, 2022

In Calgary, in the presence of family, Mrs. Frieda Tromposch of Red Deer, Alberta passed away in peace and grace on the evening of Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the age of 94 years.

She is lovingly remembered by children, Ursula (Trevor Dawe), Ernie (Dariel Dent); and daughter-in-law Diane; grandchildren, Josef (Nicole), Erika and Jonathan Tromposch, and Ian Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Josef, Owen, and Sophia Tromposch; sisters, Alma Helm and Ella Sklenarz; and an extended family of nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.  Frieda was predeceased by husband Josef and son Gunther. 

Graveside Service will take place in the spring, when family and friends can gather to honour Frieda’s life and give thanks for her enduring legacy.

Blessed are those who give meaning to our lives;

holy and precious is the example they leave behind.

May our sorrows diminish as we recall their strength.

May their wisdom protect us and help us to live.

Let our grief be transformed into tenderness for those who are still with us.
