Condolences
I just learned of Danny's passing yesterday and wanted to pass on my condolences. I met Danny back in grade 6. Our family had just moved to Calgary and we hit it off right away. He was my first (and best) friend. We shared many common interests. Cars, music, and model rocketry just to name a few. We stayed close friends all through our school years and for many years after. I was honored to have him as one of my groomsmen at my wedding ànd Karen and I were so pleased to be included in Danny and Pian's wedding. We have not been in touch for a number of years, but my fond memories of Danny and I growing up togethet have not changed.

Thank-you Unca D for everything you did for us growing up, from taking us to movies to teaching us how to ski at COP. We will miss your calm and kind nature at all the family get-togethers.
Dear Danny,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all that you have done for our family. When we first landed in Calgary, you were there to help us settle down and I still remember you picking me up at the airport. When my first child was born, you were there to help us in the hospital and gave my daughter her first gift (a little puppy). We have had so many great family parties and times together, including that road trip to Vancouver ,fishing in Kelowna .....
Through it all, I have learned so much from you - about how to love and prioritize family and how to stay strong in the face of challenges. You have been a constant support and I am so grateful to have you as my brother in law. Thank you for everything.

Dear friends… If you are the family that at one time lived on H##### Drive (hidden for your privacy) in Highwood Calgary, then Danny was my childhood friend. Your name spelling and the timing of arrival in Canada and his age tell me he is the one I knew… I always felt warm and welcomed in your house and watched with amazement on how quickly Danny learned English. We were just up the street from you at 191… I’m so sad to see that his health was difficult and his life was short. We lost touch when your family moved away but I always remembered him and his face looks wonderfully familiar as I look in the paper today. I wish I had answers for why these things happen in life but I do not. All I can do is share my care. I wish you strength and comfort and many warm memories in the days to come. With my sincerest regards.
