Obituary of Delia Big Crow

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved sister mother, auntie, grandmother and a dear friend to everyone who knew her, Delia Big Crow of Tsuut'ina Nation, AB.

Delia was predeceased by her mother, Mae; father, Russell; son, Blaine; nephews and nieces, Evan, Buffy, Trevor, Cori, Ian, and Evans; brother, Buddy; her sister, Loretta; as well as numerous family members. 

Delia is survived by her son Darren; daughters, Tanis (Shay) and Tamara; and grandchildren, Mathew, Josh, Olivia, Emma, Mary, Shania and Maya. Delia is also survived by her brothers, Alvin (Liz) and Wilfred (Coreen); sisters, Nancy, Doreen, Deanna (Jon) and Justine; sister-in-law, Alison; brother-in-law, Watson; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored. Delia is also survived by her cat, Blondie. 

Delia made her Cursillo in the 2013 theme song “Jesus It’s Me Again.” Delia enjoyed life to the fullest, she was loved by many and was known as “silly” who made everyone laugh. She loved listening to the Eagles, the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart and 80s music. Delia was also a big Flames Fan. 

Wake Services will be held at Delias residence on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services to be held at the Bullhead Community Hall on Friday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB). Reception will be held at Bullhead Community Hall (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) immediately following the graveside. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
