Condolences
Growing up in Airdrie, going to school, playing hockey, friends with Tyler, both Danielle and I had the pleasure on multiple occasions of Mona’s extremely whitty sense of humour, infectious smile and 5 star hospitality, the door was always open, especially for dinner, naturally seconds and even third helpings were always eaten when Mona was cooking, yum! Simply put, a great woman, a strong mother and a loving wife. Rest in paradise Mona, we know you’re waiting around that big campfire upstairs, watching over, and keeping us all in line ;-)
- Please accept our heart filled condolences Roger, Nicole and Tyler, much love!
So sorry to hear of Mona passing. We have many memories of the fun times we all had together. Our condolences to Roger, Nicole, Tyler and family.

I was lucky enough to spend time with Auntie and Uncle out in the mountains of Alberta in the early '90s and I always remember her cooking. She was so patient and welcoming in the kitchen. She taught me that eating can be a really sacred thing. Thank you for that Auntie. I don't have her same patience but, after that, I kept it in mind try to rise to her level in that way. Take care Auntie, you are deeply loved no matter where you rest. To the rest of the family many thoughts and prayers I send your way. We will catch up this Summer hopefully for a visit. All my heart for healing. She is missed.
As a kid. my sister and I always looked forward to the Christmas gifts from Auntie Mona and Uncle Roger !!
They knew US and we knew that Mona (and Roger too) took pleasure in finding that perfect gift.
As I grew older I was put in my place when needed by my Aunt Mona........ she could deliver a zinger that would put this bratty kid in his place and yet in a funny way. And of course I got some spiking lessons on the basement ping pong table too.
Years later it was great to share some really special memories whether it was a visit to Airdrie, camped out at our place, or in Mexico we had a lot of laughs, a couple of drinks, some good tunes and some fantastic spaghetti !!
Cheers to you Mona you will certainly be missed!
To Roger, Tyler and Nicole - we have been thinking of your family through this difficult time - and our thoughts are with each of you. I look forward to seeing you all in the not so distant future,
Lisa and Rod
Dear Mona, we will miss you so. Particularly, in Mexico at the D'Carlin where for so many winter mornings we would greet each other with 'buenos dies'.
Our sympathies to Roger, Tyler, Nicole and the others in the family. We'll be thinking of you.
Love David and Myrna Jubinville
