Obituary of Justin Allain Emile Ruel

Justin Ruel, of Calgary, AB, succumbed to his injuries from an accidental fall on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 37 years.

Justin is survived by his parents Hubert (Hugh) and Sandy; older sister Natalie, fiancé Corey and younger brother Luc.  He will be fondly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. 

Justin loved to crack jokes and had the ability to light up a room.  He was an avid Calgary Flames fan and loved to travel. He was a loyal son, brother, cousin and friend.  He loved fiercely. Justin, we will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven. We will carry you with us always, everywhere we go.  We’ll miss you.

A Celebration of Justin’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 21, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the hospitality centre at the funeral home.
