Condolences
My heart breaks for Michel, Jacob, Trevor and all of Linda’s family. You have lost a treasure. You were her life and she will live on through you.
Linda was one of my closest friends and I will miss her terribly. She had spirit, talent, intelligence, integrity. She was devoted to her family above all, but always made time for her friends.
We shared much: long beach walks, while we tried to solve the problems of our two worlds together; long lazy days boating together; many many nights at the theatre; the Stampede parade; glamping in the Kootenays. I was uplifted by her music and creativity, and will forever miss her by my side at the theatre.
You were loved and are missed, sweet Linda
Margaret
Linda and I use to meet up and go for walks along the river and over to Princess Island. We didn’t see each other much over the last couple of years but we spoke often. They say you are who you surround yourself with and Linda was a friend that challenged and inspired me. “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.” I had the honour of witnessing Linda truly living this prayer, she was very brave even when she didn’t know it. And she was learning to live in the moment and really enjoy even the little things. The excitement of her new piano & playing again, going tenting with Michele (apparently it was not the comfort she remembered it to be) taking Katrina sledding, watching Jacob perform, going for coffee with Trev, Chantel’s graduation, so many moments and she appreciated each one. And Linda was always willing to give a helping hand or volunteer Michele for it…I remember I had a wire stuck in my washer, Linda said Michele could fix that no problem, she would send him over…I’m not so sure it was no problem, it was a ton of work but Michele got it fixed for me with a smile. I will miss our talks but I will not forget. I already find myself reaching for my phone and realizing, then thinking okay what would Linda say… Honour my feelings, live in my truth and remember my boundaries. Thank you Linda, our time was short but you will have an impact on my life forever.
I'm equally shocked and sad to learn of Linda's passing. My condolences to her family. She left us too early.
Linda was my old colleague, former boss and most importantly a good friend. I first met Linda when we were colleagues in Spar in Toronto. She came to work in Toronto after graduating from UBC. We have kept in touch over the years and the last time I saw her was just before COVID. She will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace.
Linda and I worked as a team at both ACRO Aerospace and Cascade Aerospace bidding for and securing many support contracts with Canadian, American and foreign militaries. While travelling the world to secure and maintain this business, we had many occasions to sit, enjoy a glass of wine and solve many of the world problems. Will miss you, dear friend.
Linda was gentle, kind, and intelligent. We had some great chats about the joys and pains of writing, and about learning to let go. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Michel, Trevor, Eric and Jacob.
Michelle and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Linda. Our thoughts and prayers are with Michel and family during these unfortunate times
What can be said. Our lives have lost a truly amazing person. I am grateful to have known her however brief the time. Prayers from my family to yours.
I remember Linda very well from my time with Spar Aerospace on Tranmere in Mississauga, 1996 to 2001. While it is a long time ago, and I had not maintained direct contact with Linda, my memories of this fine woman are indelibly stamped on my mind. She was smart, courteous, professional and always had a beautiful smile to share and brighten our day. I do not know Linda's family, but do wish to reach out and express my most heartfelt condolences on such a major loss, and so very suddenly. I send wishes to each for great strength as you move forward. Just know, Linda impacted so many lives, and she will never be forgotten. In sympathy, Ingrid Hann
Our deepest condolences to Michel, Jacob ,Trevor and Eric. I had know Linda since 1994 and worked with her on and off for over 28 years; she was my boss, a colleague, a mentor and especially a dear friend. Our lengthy telephone calls will always be treasured memories. She left us far to soon.
Pat and I are shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Linda. I had worked and travelled for work with Linda many times while working at Vector. We will fondly remember the dinner we shared with Linda and Michel at Predator Ridge. Our condolences and best wishes to Michel and family.

Linda was a great boss when I worked with her at Vector... smart, tough and fair but always kind with a great sense of humor.
It was an honor to work with her and she will be greatly missed. One of the good ones!
I knew Linda during her time at the University Of British Columbia and afterwards when she first came to Toronto to start her career. One memory I have of Linda is spending about two months in Europe with her backpacking and using our Eurail passes to negotiate through Europe (August-September, 1986). We stayed at hostels and one and two star hotels. We took in ten countries including East Germany. At the time, the Berlin wall was still very much intact and East Germany was part of the Russian sphere of influence. Our favorite place was Nice on the French Mediterranean. We were both 23 years of age.
Later we embarked on a journey across the United States by car (her Chevy Sprint) to eventually reach Toronto (October, 1986). We had no jobs waiting for us and whatever we brought was stuffed in her small three cylinder car.
So sad to hear of her passing. She was a great friend and we took on many adventures as very young people.
My condolences to the Wolstencroft family.
Eriko and I are deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Linda. I worked with Linda at several aerospace companies over the years and there wasn’t a smarter, harder working and caring person in the industry.
We enjoyed all our social times with Linda and Michel, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Our deepest condolences to Michel, Jacob, Trevor and the rest of her family.
Rest In Peace Linda.

This is very sad news indeed. I worked with Linda at Vector, she was a consummate professional and very respected. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
My condolences to Linda's family. I worked with Linda a number of times and know from the conversations we had just how much she cared for her family. Gone way too soon. Love you Linda.

My deepest condolences to Linda's family, during Her time at Spar Aerospace, Linda was my coworker, friend, and my supervisor. RIP
Delio Ricci.
Linda was my client and friend. She was a hard-working writer devoted to telling a difficult story. Watching her improve and grow more confident in her voice and her vision as a novelist was such a pleasure. Editing/coaching is always a two-way street: I will miss talking to her and learning from her deep life experience and faith. She connected with many of us in the Calgary writing community and made an impact through her kindness and strength. It's really hard to believe she's gone.
My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. ❤
Dear Michel, Jacob and Trevor,
We were shocked and incredibly saddened to hear the news of Linda's passing. She was beautiful, brilliant, kind, and generous, and we are richer for knowing her. There really are no words..
Sending you our deepest sympathy and condolences,
Bill and Cathy Francis
Although, Linda and I rarely connected, when we did, it was as if we had never been apart. She was my biggest encourager when I decided to take up the cello and I loved talking about all things music with her. Linda was the one person I knew that I could call and she would be there, ready to listen, to talk , to just be with me. Linda was a rare treasure. There is a special place for Linda in my heart. I will guard it well and cherish those small moments of light and love that she brought to my life. I am a better person for knowing her and am so honoured to have been just a small part of all that is and was Linda.
My prayer for you Michel, Jacob, Trevor, Eric and the rest of the family is that God will hold you and comfort you in your grief.
Much love,
Kalpana
Oh Linda,
However will the gang assemble without you ? I am so grateful for your presence in my life and the warmth that you radiated everytime I was with you . I would have hugged you so much longer at Christmas if I could've seen the future.
Michel and family, my sincere condolences on your loss. Linda was a great friend and colleague when we worked together many years ago at Spar. I often think about those times and always look at our time together fondly. I am saddened for your loss, but pray that her memory will be a blessing to you.
