Condolences
Martin and I were so sorry to hear that our friend David had died. We have been friends with David and Elaine for many years and shared walks, beer (wine for Elaine), holidays and lots of laughter. He was a thoughtful and kind man and we will miss him. Much love to Elaine and the family.
When David and Elaine moved into the Chateaux condos in Airdrie, he was determined to be viewed as a crabby old curmudgeon. He was successful at it for awhile, but then we began to see that warm, interesting, and funny guy behind the cranky facade, the REAL David. His strength and stamina have been waning over these past few years, but when he was able to attend an occasional happy hour or special event, he could forget his pain for a bit and enjoy himself… and we enjoyed him! Rest In Peace, friend. Love to your memory and to Elaine, from Vince and Alley
So sorry to hear about David - always remember seeing the two of you shopping together after you retired from Superstore. When working in the Deli I used to ask how he was - Terrible - I would respond good to hear
A good friend for over 28 years, a kind, caring, generous and funny man. Gone but never forgotten.
Much love to Elaine and family at this sad time - Ann Nilan
Condolences to you all. David was certainly a unique man who we met about 16 years ago and had some good times out. We are so glad he managed to come out in January with us.
You were part of our lives a short time David but your footprints left an imprint on our hearts. RIP xoxo
