Jennieve Big Tobacco (Day Rider)

Obituary of Jennieve Lynn Big Tobacco (Day Rider)

(Anahtakii – “Cute Little Girl”)

April 27, 1996 – Fort Macleod, Alberta

March 10, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

Jennieve Lynn “Girlie” Big Tobacco (Day Rider), beloved wife of Kayla Cardinal of Calgary of AB, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the age of 26 years.

Girlie attended school in Fort Macleod, Kainai High School, and Siksika High School. She loved her sports. She played basketball and she was also on the Kainai Lady Warriors Slow Pitch team. Rodeo was also a big part of her heart. Girlie worked with steers in her time with rodeo, she had a such a passion for animals.

Girlie had numerous nieces and nephews. Each one of them held a special place in her heart, she took them all as her own. Girlie would often check on her nieces and nephews no matter the time of day. Because she was so short, she would count the days until Hunter would be the same height as her. He now towers over her.

Because Girlie had met many friends in her travels, she had several nicknames. Those nicknames included chucky, squirrelly, girly hams, hobbit, and her Facebook famous Kota Rider. In her younger days her great aunts would call her pumpkin because of her ponytail on top of her head and her little round belly.

Girlie was loved by so many people and will always be remembered by her kind heart, her willingness to help others, her contagious laugh and of course her smile.
