Obituary of Crystal Dawn OLDFORD

June 19, 1977 - New Glasgow, Nova Scotia   

September 30, 2019 – Airdrie, Alberta  

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Crystal Oldford, of Airdrie, AB, formerly of New Glasgow, NS, on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the age of 42 years.

A wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend, Crystal leaves behind her daughter Ellie, father Stephen Oldford of Trenton, NS, mother and stepfather, Joanne (Lafferty) MacLellan and Clarence White of Pugwash, NS; sister and brother-in-law, Jody (Oldford) and Ray Letondre of Airdrie, AB; nephews, Carter Letondre and Mikhail Peebles of Airdrie, AB; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Crystal was predeceased by her nephew Malcolm Peebles, and grandparents Clarence (Red) and Sophie Lafferty of Trenton, NS, and Clayton Oldford of Truro, NS and Betty Brooks of New Glasgow, NS.

Crystal had three passions in her life, her daughter Ellie Sophia (the love of her life), her family and friends, and her photography.

A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:30 p.m.  Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. For all our family and friends in Nova Scotia, a service will be held at the Trenton Rink Annex (75 Park Rd, Trenton, NS) on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
