It is with heavy hearts and sudden sadness to announce the passing of Evans (King) Big Crow. Evans was born and raised in Tsuut’ina, as well as in the Okanagan. Evans was a kind and generous man, someone who would give the shirt off his back for you. He had such a great passion for music, from the beginning thanks to his dad. Evans was such an outgoing person who had many friends wherever he went. He had a sense of humor like no other and was always laughing.

Evans will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Emily, Preston and Colton; his mom Allison, sisters, Alanda and Sky; his nieces, Mayha, Ada, Rosalie, and nephew Martin (Johnathan), who he loved and did everything he could for. Evans is also survived by his paternal grandpa Russell Big Crow, and maternal grandmother Madeline; aunties, Joanne (Kurt) Holmes, Ruby Gregoire, Nancy Big Crow, Doreen Kaquitts, Deanna (Jon) Big Crow, Justine Big Crow and Delia; uncles Tierney, Thaine, Carl, Alvin (Liz), and Wilf (Corrina).

Evans is predeceased by his dad Buddy Big Crow, grandmother May Big Crow; grandfather (Ziggy) Anthony Gregoire, aunty Loretta Big Crow; cousins, Cori Lynn Big Crow, Buffy Kaquitts, Trevor 'Beans' Big Crow, Blaine Big Crow, Eli Big Crow and Ian Big Crow; and great-cousin Tiffany Big Crow.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Allison Big Crow (1630 Six Mile Coulee Road, Tsuut'ina Nation, AB) on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 5:00 p.m

Funeral Service will be celebrated at Bullhead Hall (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) with a feast to follow at the Bullhead Hall. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
