It is with great sadness that the family of Gary Girling announce his passing on October 14, 2019, at the age of 81 years, after a courageous fourteen year battle with cancer. Gary fought with his usual optimism, determination, dignity, and wit.

He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne of fifty-nine years, son Brad; daughter Debbie; four grandchildren, Melissa (Ken), Jenilee, Devin, and Karly; three great grandsons Myles, Tate, and Rhys; brother Greg (Dixie); sister-in-law Wendy (George) Loyd of Vancouver, Washington; Barbara Kitchen of Santa Fe, Mexico; and nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences may be forwarded through www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
