Condolences
Brenna, I am so sorry to hear about Lloyd's passing. I worked with him at Canadian Tire for four and a half years while I was in school. He always looked out for me and the other "kids" and always had a silly joke to tell. I loved hearing the stories he had about you and his family; it was clear how much you all meant to him. He was the sweetest man I have ever met, and I will miss him dearly—my sincere condolences to you and your family.
Condolences to Lloyds family !!! We grew up across the street from each other, played all sports with him and will be sadly missed !!!!!
My condolences! Lloyd and I and two other friends spent some of the summer when we were just 15 making our fortune picking fruit in Osoyoos. It was an adventure. He was a great guy.
I remember Lloyd from high school and he was a friend. My condolences to his family.
Lloyd will be greatly missed. He was always happy and enjoyed a good joke or chuckle.
Always a pleasure to work with.
Sincere condolences to his family.
What a shock and sadness to hear about our “other brother “Pink”s “ passing! Lloyd seemed to be in our Chynoweth clan from the time I was a youngster! Always coming and going in Kindersley and Coleville! I had the fortunate opportunity to work with Lloyd at IPL at the control room for over 5 years… he was a superb teacher and mentor for all the newbies!! He was patient, articulate and passionate about the work and about you as a person! Lots of laughter, quick jabs with a mischievous smile and of course his energy level never seemed to slow down! Loved his cars and cleaning them constantly! Loved / loves his family more and couldn’t stop talking about his kids and grandkids whenever we connected! To all his family, know there are great memories of your dad, grandpa and brother that bring smiles and laughter to us! He truly was one of a kind!!! Our condolence and sympathies are with you!! Pink, we will see you on the other side. Until then keep the heavenly car clean!!
Lloyd (Pink) Coates.
Very sad to hear of your passing. Will cherish the many fond memories we shared.
We first met in Kindersley, where you and Barry Klimosko came out from the city (Saskatoon) one summer to enjoy the small-town atmosphere. A few years later, I met-up with the both of you in Edmonton. Through the fortunes of your conversations with Aunt Sharon (Morris Chynoweth’s Aunt) you, Barry and I began our working careers with IPL, which later became Enbridge. We spent countless hours enjoying one another’s company. These were special times, working together, playing hockey, golfing, the occasional road trip and watching our families grow-up.
The demand of our jobs at IPL/Enbridge had us spending loads of afterhours together performing logistics for the pipeline’s operation. Lloyd’s always made time for his family (Andy, Brittney and Conor). They were a priority in his life, He was proud of each of you.
Will remember the enjoyable times we spent together, your humor and determination.
Your Friend
Doug Barry
Lloyd was a treasured part of our Canadian Tire family for many years, loved by his fellow staff and all of our customers. Our thoughts and condolences are with all of Lloyd’s family and loved ones; he will be greatly missed and we were honoured to have him as part of our team for so many years.

Lloyd you were one of a kind, you convinced me to relocate to the IPL Control Center in Edmonton and welcomed us with open arms, we started are families together and enjoyed several DIY projects we had no idea what we were doing. Count Floyd you will be missed. Rick Donna and family
Lloyd, the world is a sadder place with you not in it. You've been part of my larger family for almost 55 years, from being silly teenagers to being such wise old men!
Losing Lloyd is like losing your party's entertainment. He lit up a room, was constantly curious, always busy and never backed away from being the butt end of a joke. I will miss you and your deprecating humor.
To Lloyd's family, our wish for you is that find comfort with each other and with the memories you keep of him.
Love from our family to yours...
Morris & Elaine Chynoweth
