Obituary of Al Hern

December 6, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Alan Hern of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the age of 69 years.

Alan was a long-standing accomplished representative with Primerica Canada. His extended family will miss him dearly.

Alan is survived by his sister Trina (Rob) Kramer, brother-in-law Bob Stone, nieces, Carla (Jeff) Stone, Colleen (Sean) Friesen, and Lori (Mike) Zetts; and his nephew Blair (Paula) Kramer.

A Celebration of Alan’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Hern’s service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
