Obituary of Dave Stevens

Dave Stevens of Calgary, AB, lost his battle with leukemia on the morning of Monday, December 9, 2024, at the age of 71 years.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife Carol, daughter Kristi (Warren), son Richard, sisters, Trish (Jeff) and Phyllis, grandson Dante, granddaughter Kaydence (the sparkle of his life), and the entire extended family.

His commitment to the Little League baseball community was only exceeded by his dedication to his oil and gas career. This culminated in a position as Chief Geoscientist with Conoco Canada, yet nothing ever surpassed his passion for watching NFL football (how 'bout dem Cowboys!).

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Dave’s service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
