Obituary of David William Ripley

David “Dave” Ripley, beloved husband of Dianne Ripley of Calgary, AB, passed away at Dulcina Hospice on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the age of 67 years.
Dave was born on March 13, 1957, in Calgary, AB. He was a dedicated member of Skyview Community Church of the Nazarene and loved to serve on various worship teams.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his ability to make everyone laugh, as well as for his strong faith, dedication to family, and kindness.
In addition to his wife, Dave is survived by his daughters, Tamara (Matt) and Katie; and son Mark (Heather). He was a loving grandfather to Sol, Mally, Tom, Amelie, Noah, and Luke. Dave also leaves behind his brothers, Laine (Pat), Shawn (Cindy), and Mike (Stacey); his sisters, Karen (Rick), and Vanessa (Colin); and his mother Shirley. He was predeceased by his father Bill, brother Brian, and sister Pauline.
A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held at Skyview Community Church of the Nazarene (9685 Harvest Hills Blvd NW, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to all those who have supported and helped Dave throughout his illness.
