Mary E. Adair (nee Bishop), passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at the age of 77 years.

Mary was born in Broadview, SK, on September 6, 1947. When she was a teen, she moved to Calgary, AB, to attend beauty school, where she met her best friends. In 1966, Mary met and later married Robin Adair in Banff, AB, and made their home together in Calgary, AB, for their 47 years together. Mary moved to Airdrie, AB, to be closer to her daughter after Robin’s passing.

She worked at Woodwards, Market Mall in Calgary, AB, for many years, making lifelong friends. She enjoyed bingo, woodworking, home renovations, and crafts. She opened her home to visitors and family alike and was always ready to help someone in need.

Mary’s greatest feat was her trip alone by Greyhound bus for two months to Atlantic Canada where she enjoyed the culture, people, and breathtaking landscapes.

Survived by her daughter Michelle Adair of Airdrie, AB, her brother Rini Bishop of Calgary, AB, nephew Michael Bishop (Eli) of Calgary, AB, niece Kacy Callin (Gerry) of LaRonge, SK, and many distant, but important relatives in England and Holland.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Robin, and parents, Ted and Paula Bishop.
