Obituary of Ansuya Shantilal Dave
March 18, 1931 – Sanosara, India
December 31, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Ansuya Shantilal Dave, at the age of 93 years. She left us peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on March 18, 1931, and was a woman who exemplified grace, wisdom and strength. Throughout her long and fulfilling life, she touched the hearts of everyone she met. She lived with kindness and compassion, offering her support and love to her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her legacy will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. We will forever carry her memory in our hearts.
We will miss her deeply but find comfort in knowing that she lived a full and meaningful life. Her love will continue to guide us, and her memory will remain with us forever. Rest in peace.

A Celebration of Ansuya’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Calgary Crematorium, 3219 – 4th Street NW, Calgary, AB, within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Followed by Bhajans at 6:00 p.m. at the Hindu Temple (2225 24 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB).
