Doreen Brook of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the age of 96 years surrounded by her family.

She was one of us. Born in Lumberton, BC, grew up in Cranbrook, BC, and lived her life in Calgary, AB.

She was a passionate golfer, reader, hiker, and an established watercolour painter, rarely turning away from a controversial topic or conversation.

She was a fighter; while illnesses appeared consistently later in life, she fought her way back to health numerous times.

Most of all, she was a wife, mother, and grandmother. We loved her and will never forget her.
