Obituary of Deborah Jean Hunter (nee Black)

2013 – Calgary, AB

Deborah passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 5, 2013, peacefully at home in Calgary at the age of 60 years.

Debbie was born on July 14, 1953, in London Ontario, the daughter of Thelma and the late Edgar Black. Debbie lived in Rocky Mountain House and then the majority of her years were in Calgary. She worked in Fish and Wildlife and in the Oil and Gas Industry, and she lead a very diversified life. Debbie loved animals, having had dogs and horses, and excelled in drawing and crafts.

She loved and cherished her son Carson Hunter and daughter-in-law Anna Hunter (nee Asoian) and was a grandmother extreme to Sierra. She is also survived by her mother Thelma; sister Karen Stirling; brother Alan (Laura) Black; niece Erin (Bryan) Boorman and their children Liam and Julia; and nephew Noel (Erin) Black.

Celebration of Debbie’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
