Obituary of William BRINDLEY

August 4, 1920 – December 29, 2012 Bill beloved husband of Alma of Calgary, passed away on December 29, 2012 at the age of 92 years. Bill worked for CFAC Communications for 31 years as a carpenter. He was proud to work with Ed Whalen and was known to have the same hair cut as Ed. He was a long time member of the British Canadian Club in Calgary as well as Knox United Church. Some of the hobbies he had were stamp and coin collecting and gardening, with his friends enjoying the fruits of his labor, his special tomatoes. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching hockey. Besides his loving wife, Alma, Bill is survived by his sister, Linda, of England. Bill was predeceased by his first wife, Kay, in 1987. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
