Obituary of Leonard MILLER

December 10, 1929 – May 9, 2012 Leonard Miller passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 1:12 a.m. the age of 82 years, 4 months, 28 days 1 hour 12 minutes surrounded by love. Len (Smiley) was born at home near Linacre, Sask. the 6th of 9 children. Not only was Len devoted and proud of his family, he was also heavily involved in the community. He retired from CP rail in 1990 after 42 years of service and led an active happy life. He was a golfer, dancer, gardener, cook, singer, volunteer, egg scrambler, president… Len would often say Jack of all trades Master of none. He was much loved, much respected and will be missed by all the lives he touched. Len is survived by Jean (Scott) his Beloved wife of 60 years, his Children Deborah (Ken) Dale (Sue) Fay (Gord) Monica (Ed), and his Grandchildren Tom, Misty (David) Michelle (Asa) Danielle (Jay) Trinette (Dustin) Randi (Drew) Scott (Rachel-Ann) Jessica. Great-grandchildren Rachel, Jon, Caleb, Ava, Logan, Riker, Audrey and Brilynn Siblings Ella, Bertha, Herb, Earl, sisters and brothers in-law and extended families He was predeceased by his daughter Peggy Lee and his siblings; Edwin, Alma, Freda and Irvin. A celebration of Lens life will be held at the Greater Forest Lawn Seniors Center (3425 26 Avenue S.E.) on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
