Condolences
I have just found out today of Judge Leveques passing. I worked for many years with Judge Leveque as a Court Clerk at Family and Youth Court. I will miss his humour, his laugh and his joy for life! My condolences to the family.
I was saddened to hear of Peter’s passing last week. I got to know Peter well through my years of caring for their lovely dog Ariel. Peter was a very gentle and thoughtful man. Upon hearing of my niece’s appointment as a Manitoba Provincial Court Judge, he invited me to come and spend a day with him on the bench. Sadly, I never took him up on the offer. My sincere thoughts and sympathies to all of Peter’s family.
My condolences to the family of Judge Leveque. My fondest memories was as a Family Court counsellor … my first time in Court ever in 1982. Our chat’s about the law and psychology, and of course our secret discussions about tennis will remain with fond memories. I know he thought of his family often as we talked about it, and as well mine.
Peter’s neighbours at Strathaven Horizon Village offer their sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Peter was not long with us but during that time he was a good friend and a valued member of our little community.
Many years working with/for Peter. Great memories and sincere sadness, Blessing to family and friends.
Peter and I were classmates at Central High School and I see we both graduated from UBC in 1962. My sympathies to all family members and wishes for a wonderful memorial to a man with wit and charm, that was eloquent and humorous!
Sincerely
Don Snow, Architect
Very sorry to hear that Peter had passed. My condolences to Gaye and his family, a great baseball fan will be missed.
My sincere condolences to the Honorable Judge Leveque’s family, friends as well to his Provincial Family Court Honorable Brothers and Sisters for their sudden loss.
I will always remember the Honorable Judge Leveque for his witty sense of humor and creativity that he consistantly brought into his courtroom when working with families.
What a wonderful, truly Gentle Man. We have seen through personal experience the respect and love that he gave to those that he treasured. Although, I am still waiting on the cantaloupe ice cream… Maybe he will have some waiting for us. So very sorry for the lose of a wonderful father, grandfather, and partner. Blessings and prayers are sent from Florida
We wish to convey our sincere condolence with the passing of The Honourable Judge Peter Leveque.
Henry and Anne Pal…….
Despite my best efforts, I will arrive in Calgary a few hours too late to attend Peter’s service. I send my sincere condolences to his family on their loss of a father/grandfather who was a truly unique human being. He’ll be missed at the judges’ daily lunches and other activities.
My sincere condolences to the family of Judge Leveque. I was so sad to hear of his sudden passing. I worked with him in Family Court at the J.J. Bowlen Bldg from 1978 to 1982 as a court reporter. I remember his great sense of humour and driving with him (and all the judges) to circuit court. We once had to stop at the side of the road on the way so he could take a picture of a beautiful hawk sitting on a post. May wonderful memories bring you comfort in the days to come.
