I have known and loved Mr. "C" my entire life. He introduced my mom and dad and met me for the first time as a 3 week old. He fully participated in my upbringing and gave the toast to the bride at my wedding.
He subjected us to many heavy equipment slideshows but only after passing the mochas and asking why we didn't need our third mocha - "what's the matter, don't you like them". He taught me about his much loved hummingbirds and the importance of being honest and hard working. He built my first deck and his brand new tape measure is still under that deck somewhere.
His warm smile and always sincere greeting - "You are a site for sore eyes" will be with me forever.
