Obituary of William Thomas PARLEE

August 20, 1978 – Saint John, New Brunswick
April 11, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that the family of William Thomas (Tommy/Tom) Parlee announces his sudden death on Sunday, April 11, 2021, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 42 years.

Tommy/Tom was a dedicated husband to Tara Marie Parlee (Seigler) and a loving devoted father to his son Arlen William Hollis, and daughter Savannah Jane Marie. His family was his pride and joy.

If you had the honour of getting to know Tommy/Tom personally, you would know he was a kind, quiet, compassionate, and unassuming man. Tommy had an unbelievable talent and passion for woodworking. He loved spending time in his shed to tinker away with tools and build different pieces. Arlen loved helping Daddy with all his projects and accompanying him to Canadian Tire every Sunday. Dear Savannah loved playing in the backyard with Daddy, especially his nonstop pushes on the swing. He will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. He always had a nostalgic and playful smirk on his face that will be missed by all those that knew him.

Besides his loving wife and children, Tommy/Tom is survived by his sister Crystal Barker and brother-in-law Rob Barker; nephew Lucas, niece Lexie from Petitcodiac, NB, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark and Cheryl Seigler, of Calgary, AB; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Laura Seigler Zerr and Danny Zerr; and niece Violet from Qu’Appelle, SK. Tommy/Tom is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins from Calgary and New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his father William Parlee, and mother Marilyn (Munro) Parlee.

Tommy/Tom’s wishes were that no service would be held. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed on Tommy’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com. In lieu of flowers or donations, monetary contributions can be made directly to the family to support with the financial loss Tommy/Tom’s death has left behind.

In living memory of Tommy Parlee, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Chapel of the Bells, 2720 CENTRE STREET NORTH, CALGARY, AB T2E 2V6, Telephone: 403-243-8200.
