Obituary of Phileda Bertha WEBSTER

October 10, 1913 – January 11, 2012 Claimed by Father Time in her 99th year, Phileda Bertha Webster fulfilled a wonderful life on the 11th day of January, 2012. She happily reunited with husband Harry, the love of her life, and beloved son John, but reluctantly, left behind three other proud sons. She will be sadly missed by sons David (Joy), Martin (Linda), Craig (Francine) and daughter-in-law Jan. In her later years, Phil was consistently an elegant vision in white driving her bright yellow Corvette and will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Allison, Sharon, Emma, Geoffrey, Alexandra, Brandon, Joshua, Heather, Mark and Christopher, as well as great grandchildren, Cody, Jesse and Alec. In 1948 Phil bid farewell to the “White Cliffs of Dover” and all her family in England to begin a new life in Toronto. Although Phil embraced her newly adopted country, she remained “a Lady of Kent” and a staunch Monarchist to the end. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. As Phil was a long-term survivor of cancer, in lieu of flowers, a donation to your local cancer society will be appreciated. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Phileda Webster, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES Park Memorial Chapel, 5008 ELBOW DRIVE S.W. Telephone: (403)243-8200
