Obituary of Olga Oline RINTOUL

October 12, 1925 – January 11, 2012 Olga Oline Rintoul, passed away from a brief illness with her family by her side on Wednesday January 11, 2012 at the age of 86 years. She was raised in Camrose where she met the ‘love of her life’, Jack. They were married and later moved to Calgary where they lived until their passing. After many years of raising a family, Olga went to work for the Calgary Public School Board until retiring. She and Jack travelled throughout the world. She loved to bake for family and friends, many a rainy day would see her in the kitchen doing just that. Her last great adventure in the past 3 years was rafting on the Bow River. Olga was a great inspiration to us all and we salute her. Olga was Mom to six children, Connie (Andre) Thibault, Allan (Jillian), Randy (Cherry), Grant (Kathy), Colleen Hume (Darcy Robillard) and Larry; Grandma to nine and great-grandma to nine. At Olga’s request there will be no funeral service. The family would like to thank Doctor Eliason and all the staff at Bow View Manor for their tender care of our mom. She called Bow View Manor home from the first day she arrived and that’s thanks to all of you. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Olga Rintoul, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Eastside Memorial Chapel, 5388 MEMORIAL DRIVE N.E.
