Obituary of Diane Sandra VOGT
December 14, 1942 – January 8, 2012
Diane Sandra Vogt was granted her angel wings on Sunday, January 8, 2012. She passed away at the Foothills Country Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer.
Diane was the eighth child of Isabella and Frank Beggs. She was born in Wilkie, Saskatchewan. She attended the University of Saskatchewan and attained an Education degree. She spent most of her professional career in Calgary where she taught grade two for many years. She was a talented teacher and many students remember her and her classroom mascot, Snoopy. In 2000, she was able to retire and enjoy several years with her friends and family. Her grandchildren were especially dear to her and they will miss her special treats, treasure hunts and play times.
She leaves to mourn her son Michael (Lyn) and their children Elizabeth and Aimee; daughter Holly (Lyle) and her son Jayce; siblings, Lois, Carol (Ron), Donald (Bev), Allan (Loretta) and Ross (Evelyn); and extra special friends Gail, Jim, Verna and Ernie.
