Obituary of Kenneth Robert DAY

August 8, 1942 – December 31, 2011 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ken on Saturday, December 31st 2011 at the age of 69. Ken was born and raised in Ontario; he joined the army and was stationed in Calgary where he raised his family. Ken was involved in the trucking industry and then started his own company Ken Day Trucking Ltd. Ken loved to go camping and biking and spent many summers enjoying the mountains and the trails of the backcountry. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife of forty four years Carol, children, Neil (Lana) and Michelle (Darryl), grandchildren Austin, Brooke, Emma and Tori. Ken is survived by his brothers Carl (Louise), Don and sisters Phyllis (Terry), Marion, Dale (Doug) and mother-in-law, Sylvia. Ken was predeceased by his mother Liz, father Ross and brother George.
