Obituary of Joyce Lilian LAMPARD
March 29, 1929 – December 27, 2011
Joyce Lampard, beloved wife of Ken Lampard of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the age of 82 years.
Joyce was a loving and caring person who liked nothing better than to help others, especially those in need. Her smile brought happiness to all she met. Her greatest joy was to walk with friends in Fish Creek Park enjoying nature and the clean fresh air. Born in Pilot Mound, MB, she worked with Manitoba Telephones before moving to Calgary and had a thirty-two year career with both AGT and Telus. After her retirement, she was an active supporter of the Skyline Seniors Outdoor Club and for many years led regular Friday walks for seniors throughout Fish Creek Park until the spring of 2011. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Joyce is survived by her husband Ken, brothers Gordon (Betty), Elwood (Joan), sister, Irene, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Guy, Irvin, Lloyd, William (Bill), Leslie (Les) and sister Doreen.
