Obituary of Stephania SAMBORN

January 4, 1934 – December 25, 2011 Stephania Samborn of Calgary passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Stevie (Stephania) was born and raised in Saskatchewan. While taking her RN training in Prince Albert she met her future husband Ernie when she and a fellow student needed a ride from Saskatoon to PA. Ernie and his friend answered the call and on June 27, 1959 they married. Stevie practiced nursing in various towns and cities in Saskatchewan and Alberta. They followed their daughters to Calgary in 1994 where they retired. Stephania is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Samborn and Tracey Samborn; and her “granddog” Kipper. She was predeceased by her husband Ernie Samborn in May 2010. A private gathering will be held January 4, 2012. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
