Obituary of Mario RULLO

March 8, 1932 – December 22, 2011 Mario Rullo beloved husband of Maria Rullo of Calgary, passed away peacefully surrounded by his immediate family on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Mario was born in Italy and immigrated to Canada on May 4, 1957. He met Maria in 1962 and one month later married her in Calgary. Mario and Maria literally started with nothing and together through their hard work and entrepreneurial spirit, were able to have a fruitful and fulfilling life. Mario had an immense love for family and he was overjoyed to spend time with his grandchildren. He was selfless and put his family ahead of himself. He could always find humor and made the best of all situations. Mario is survived by his wife of fifty years Maria, daughters, Emilia Swordy of Kelowna, Mirella Rullo of Calgary and son Michael Rullo of Calgary, grandchildren, McKale, Alia, and Nicole Swordy, Dana, and Mackenzie Corcoran and numerous extended family here in Canada, Argentina, and Italy. Mario was predeceased by brother Emilio Rullo. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W.) on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
