Obituary of Vanessa Lynne HUNTER

November 23, 1968 – December 22, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. Vanessa was born and raised in Morley, AB. She attended Morley School, Calgary School and later on returned to upgrading school in Morley. She enjoyed being a mother to her three boys and and family gatherings. She also enjoyed the outdoors and camping. She was a quiet, loving woman who had a sense of humor and always made friends where ever she goes. She moved to Sunchild Reserve from 1988 – 1999. She leaves to mourn her mother Ruth Hunter; her three sons Justin, Cory and Brensley; adopted parents Glen and Mary Alice Waskawitch; grandmother Mary Jane Snow who had raised her; siblings Maureen, Carmen, Fiona, Mary-Eve Smith and Skylar; aunties Darlene, Casie, Shirley, Valerie, Jacqueline, Louise, Annie, Celina, Mary Louise, Elvina, Maxine, Linda, Evangeline, Eldra, Georgie W.B.; cousins Ora, Jeanette, Caroline, Felicia, Heather, Farrah, Gabriel, William, Trevor, John, Vina, Tammy, Megan, Rachel, Brantner and Delane as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends, and the families of Poucette, Ear, Hunter, Snow, Labelle, Yellowface, Chiniquay, and Rider. Vanessa was predeceased by her father Harold Labelle, by her three children Christina, Teagan and Christine, brothers Robert Hunter and Grant Simeon, aunties Arlene Holloway, Rosy, Violet, Sharon, Gina and Beverly; paternal grandparents Christine and Johnny Labelle, maternal grandpa Lazarus Twoyoungmen; uncle Albert and Gloria; cousins Renee, Tony, Terry, Ben and Curtis. Wake Services will be held at the residence Ora Baptiste (Morley, AB) on Wednesday December 28 and Thursday December 29, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Old Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).
