Obituary of Valeria KALLO

September 19, 1918 – December 20, 2011 With great sorrow we announce that our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, December 20, 2011. Predeceased by her loving husband of forty-one years, Gabor Kallo in 2001, she will be greatly missed by her daughter Veronika Duska. Mourned by three adoring grandchildren, Michelle (Drew) and Lili (and son Raphael) of Calgary and Laszlo (Maya) of Riondel, B.C., and their father Dr. Leslie Duska (Vali), Valeria is also survived by her youngest brother Erno Pammer in Gyor, Hungary and numerous relatives. Born September 19, 1918 in Ravazd, Hungary she escaped with her daughter during the 1956 Revolution and against all odds established a family life in Canada through much hard work. A person of great determination and integrity, always her goal was the well being of her family. Funeral Mass and reception will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (819 – 13th Avenue S.W.) on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
