Obituary of Patricia C. GILBERT

September 10, 1937 – December 17, 2011 Patricia Gilbert of Calgary passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was generous and compassionate with a loving nature and beautiful smile. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Joanne and Ellen (Norm); sons, Thomas and Barry; grandchildren, Corey and Rebecca Allard, Emily Gilbert and Brody Gilbert; sister Marilyn Thacker (Herb); and her brother Randy O’Hara (Joni) along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gordon James Gilbert; her parents Val and Louella O’Hara; and her brothers, Barry O’Hara (Sandy) and Dennis O’Hara (Carol). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W.) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Services to follow in St. Joseph’s Section at Queen’s Park Cemetery Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
