Obituary of Gesa AMORUSO

March 29, 1931 – December 12, 2011 Gesa Amoruso (nee Posca), beloved wife of the late Annunziato Amoruso, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Gesa was born March 29, 1931 in Staletti, Italy. She was married on April 27, 1952 and immigrated to Canada in August 1956. Gesa is survived by her son Domenic and his wife of Calgary; six grandchildren, Amanda (Bill), Annunziato, Victor, Jocelyn, Denise and Samantha; six great-grandchildren; and her sister Romana. Gesa was predeceased by her son Rocco; brothers and a sister. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
