Claudia & Family:
Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. We will look back on the many golf games with Otto and recall his strategies of his game: Driver, fairway wood, chip, putt and what always seemed like a Par. He was a kind and gentle man who made those around him laugh. May all the wonderful memories give you strength in the days to come.
To Claudia and children,
“ Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves memory no one an steal!”
With our deepest sympathy. We wish you strength during this difficult time.

Otto gave me a job in 1973, I will always remember and be thankful for the opportunity!
Claudia and Family
Dale and I are sorry we couldn’t be with you and your family today to celebrate Ottos life. For sure it was a life filled with adventure, athletic success, business success beyond his dreams and of course family commitment to his wife and his children who were his pride and joy. Claudia, you and he spending 56 years of marriage together is a testament to the values both you and he had with regard to the family institution. How I will miss those memorable golf games and the 19th hole conversations (and the settling of the wagers).
We are coming to Calgary for a few days over Christmas and will call to see how you’re feeling as well as hopefully have an opportunity to speak with Reto and Angela.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all today.
Dale and Norm
I am saddened to read of Otto’s passing. As a former Mayor and Alderman for the City of Airdrie I can attest to the huge impact that the Woodside Golf Course has had on our community. Besides being the local high quality course that it is, it has become the centre focal point of so many community events and activities. Without the vision and care given to the development and maintainance of Woodside Golf Course by Otto and his team, Airdrie would have been poorer for Otto’s absence.
Sincerely,
Linda Bruce
