Obituary of Graham Edward SCOTT

June 20, 1935– December 11, 2011 Graham Edward Scott beloved husband of Shirley of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Graham was employed with the City of Calgary Streets and Roads as a works inspector for over thirty years. He retired in 1990 and he and Shirley moved to their retirement home in Windermere. After five years, they moved back to Calgary because they missed the sun. In 1994, they wintered in Yuma, Arizona and spent nine years down there golfing twice a week and playing washoe with other Canadian friends. He spent the remainder of his retirement years in Calgary in Chaparell and enjoyed his time with his family and friends and enjoyed going on Cruise vacations. Besides his loving wife of fifty-six years Shirley, Graham is also survived by daughter Lori (Doug) Lacey; son Rob (Eleanor) Scott; eight grandchildren, Chad (Tiffany), Cody (Amanda), Cyle (Dana), Cari, Stacey, Brady, Christina and Carly; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Owen and Hayley; sister June Anderberg of Kamloops, BC; brothers Frank and Al Scott; and sister-in-law Lynn Scott. Funeral Services will be held at McDougall United Church (8516 Athabasca Street S.E.) on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
