Obituary of Freda WHITE

October 19, 1921 – Southampton, Hampshire, England August 29, 2018 – Cochrane, Alberta Freda passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Freda was born October 19, 1921 in Southampton, England and apart from her war time service she lived within five miles of her birthplace until moving to Canada when her husband; Ted passed four and a half years ago. They married in 1945 and their marriage lasted sixty-seven years. She served is a nurse in the Womens Royal Air Force throughout the war and was involved in receiving the dead and wounded from the D Day landings; which made a lasting impression on her. She was never religious but was always a good Christian. Her life revolved around her family and we were blessed to have her with us in Canada during those last years of her life.
