Obituary of Donna Margaret FRANKS

December 6, 1932–December 10, 2011 Marny Franks of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Mom moved toCalgaryin 1977 with her three younger children and started a new life with her sister Barb and sister-in-law Ina beside her. She got a job working for the government and retired at the age of 60 to take care of her mother. She loved being with her grandchildren, babysitting often and going on holidays with them. Her two favourite spots to holiday wereSylvanLakeand anywhere in B.C. Plus our journeys toReginato visit the boys and their families. Mom was very much a family person having Sunday meals with us all, which ended soon after she got too sick to travel. She loved reading and going to Curves with her best friend Rita, which they did three times a week. She also loved having lunches with her sister-in-law and friend Ina and long time friend Patsy. She will be sadly missed by all but is at peace now. Happy Journey Mom. We love you! Marny is survived by three sons and one daughter Greg (Charlotte), Brian (Hayley), Tracey and Kelly; numerous grandchildren Josh (Jaime), Lindsay, Brianna, Taylor, Jasmine, Natasha (Marc), Gary, Chelsea (Clay), Chassie (Marco), Sean, Caitlin; three great-grandchildren Jayden, Mya and Hunter plus nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sisters Betty and Barb; four children Gary, Cindy, Kevin, Linda and her parents.
