Dear Janet,
The last memory of Ron’s face – Marilyn and I trying to sneak looks into the living room to see you and Ron kissing when you were dating. Ahhh kids. Weren’t we just the rotten ones. I was so sorry to hear from brother Don of Ron’s passing. My memories go back oh so many years to his smile and good nature. May you and your family, as well as Marilyn and Murray, be comforted in each other’s love and memories of Ron.
I was shocked to hear of Ron’s passing to put it mildly! Ron and I were Baseball team mates a number of times as well as knowing him at school. I wish to offer my condolences to both you and your family. Allan Hawkins January 1st 2012
We were shocked when Murray called to tell us of Ron’s passing. When I worked shutdowns at Skookumchuck Ron always made a point of coming over to BS and catch up. Our heartfelt condolences to you Janet and your family as well as Murray and Marilyn.

Please give my deepest sympathy to to whole family . this from Philip Babaeff .
Dear Janet. We were so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. His Mom and my Mom were cousins and we lived next door to them all of our school years. Ron was 2 grades ahead of me, so we never knew each other that well, but for our first few years there, we spent Christmas dinners together as extended family. As a pastor for the past 21 years, I have dealt with grieving families a lot, and I know it can be particularly hard at this time of year. May the Lord bring you and your family strength and comfort as you mourn Ron’s passing. Our hearts go out to you, and we will remember you in prayer.
Dear Janet and Family,
We send our most sincere sympathy. We will miss Ron very much at Golden Village Palms.

Janet,
I was surprised and saddened when I received the news about Ron. Our 50th year class reunion was such a highlight in our lives, and I so enjoyed talking with Ron. If we had a prize for the “most dazzling smile” it would have been Ron who received it. Nick remembers both of you on the golf course in Castlegar.
Ron will be missed. Our hearts are with you.
Dear JANET and family.
We were shocked to hear of Ron’s passing. It wasn’t that long ago we spoke to him at the hockey game. My gosh how the years go by. May you comfort each other with love and the blessings from God. Janet & family:
I have nothing but fond memories of Ron from school and beyond. He was a great team mate when playing basketball and great school mate. Our last school reunion just illustrates how important class reunions are. I liked “the guy” a lot. Our sincere thoughts are with you.

Dear Janet and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I first knew him back in the 1950’s when his family lived down the street from my aunt and uncle. He was a quiet kid with a good sense of humour who played with my cousin, Murray Heagy. Ron seemed so happy when I saw you both at the SHHS Reunion 1960 event last year. My condolences.
