Obituary of Rosa LOGULLO

May 29, 1927 – November 29, 2011 Rosa Logullo (nee Rizzuto), born in Sartano, Cosenza, Italy, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Rosa will be sadly missed by her loving husband Elmiro of sixty-three years; her children, Frank, Tony (Rita), Mary Galandy (Kevin); and her loving grandchildren, Rosalie, Miranda (Patti), John, Michael, Jennifer, and Rachel. She is also survived by her sister Ida Trombino of Italy; her brothers, Francesco Rizzuti and Angelo Rizzuto (Pina); sister Carolina Trotta (Frank); and brother-in-law Luigi Vigna, all of Calgary and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Elena Rizzuto; her sisters, Maria DeRose (Pepino) and Paulina Vigna; her sister-in-law Maria Rizzuto; and her brother-in-law Avinendo Trombino. Rosa was a saintly spirit who always saw the silver lining on any cloud finding greatness and good in all. We are very grateful you are now with God, we will miss your wisdom, love and kindness more than you will ever know. God took an angel home today, we had the blessing of knowing, loving and sharing her beauty. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
