Obituary of Elaine Andrews RICHARDSON

July 5, 1927 – November 27, 2011 We announce that our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Elaine Andrews Richardson (nee Hart) joined her husband John after losing her battle with cancer on November 27, 2011. Mom was a woman with an irrepressible and persistent love which is reflected in her family. She was born and raised in Toronto and lived in Ontario, Quebec and Calgary. She performed with grace the role of a minister’s wife for many years. Elaine also worked as a key punch operator in an Avro Lancaster aircraft factory, assisting the war effort. She retired from her job at Energy Resources Conservation Board in 1993. Since then, she enjoyed travelling, theatre and welcoming friends and family. Elaine was predeceased by her husband John. She is survived by her sons, Gordon (Janet), David (Sheila), Robert (Christine), Shane (Milagros), and Christopher (Ethel); grandchildren Laura, Brett, Cory, Stefan, Kayla, Andrew and Alexander; great-grandchildren, Panagiotis and Prokopios and many nieces and nephews. We will miss her.
